Bio :
Harding's House
A family band from the beachside town of Hervey Bay, QLD
Their style could best be described as indie folk/blues, but it is best to expect the unexpected with these guys, as no two releases sound the same!
Siblings, Robbie Harding and Nicole Cornish (nee Harding) created the band during their formative teenage years. Coming from a musical family, they grew up learning covers of their favourite folk musicians such as Passenger and Angus & Julia Stone.
In 2017, Nicole met drummer-by-trade, Shane Cornish. The two were married and It was not long before joined the project, infusing his unique style of percussion. This brought a new level of creativity and excitement to the group and influenced the writing style of their soulful original music.
Aaron McCabe, a long-term friend of Shane's in music (and the best man at Nicole & Shane's wedding) completes the 4-piece, bringing his skills as a highly competent bass player, recording engineer and producer.
Harding's House produces music that is bold, refreshing, impactful and classy, featuring topics of love, loss, mental health, addiction and hope.
Their dedication and infectious stage-presence has landed them several noteworthy gigs and festival slots across the country, including Initiation Festival, Wallaby Creek Festival, Woodford Festival of Small Halls and Dragon Dreaming Festival. They have performed alongside impressive local and international names like Bootleg Rascal, Blair Dunlop and more.
Wherever their musical journey takes them, they will always have an unbreakable love for their art, and each other, and in the beauty of this, they find inspiration.
