Bio :
turpentine road formed in the winter of 2016 on the south coast of NSW AUSTRALIA by Rob Moss and Norm Holmes.
Influenced by contemporary blues, indie rock and modern folk music, the band’s musical energy and thought provoking lyrics take the audience on a eclectic ride of emotion, melody and groove.
The Band is:
Norm Holmes – Vocals & Harmonica
Rob Moss – Guitars & Vocals
Dave Fulcher – Bass Guitar
Mark Lambert – Drums & Percussion
It was the mantra from the band’s inception to write and perform music without creative boundry and not be confined to a specific genre. The band thrives on moving rhythms, creative lyrics and aspire to seemless performance’s keeping the audience engaged throughout an entire show.
Drawing on collective life experiences, the band believes that story telling through its music however simple or complex, joyful or melancholy should translate and move the audience.
Rob and Norm have a natural and free flowing song writing chemistry which is enfused by David and Mark’s connection to feel, musicality and professionalism. All this enables turpentine road to create something quite unique yet retaining a grass roots contemporary feel to its music.
In 2019 Moss & Holmes launched their own independent record label Enormoss Records to support future releases and endevours.
