Powerhouse vocalists Sonic Keys and Aria Cook have joined forces once more to deliver ‘Angels’ , a soulful, RnB Pop collaboration that celebrates the everyday “angels” who support us through life’s ups and downs. The new single follows the duo’s acclaimed anthem ‘The Long Way Home’ , taking listeners on a heart felt journey of gratitude, resilience, and musical excellence. “’Angels’ is an expression of gratitude to all those who support us in our lives, as we navigate the good and the not so good times, ” shares Aria Cook. “This track is the perfect follow up from the Long Way Home as it shines the light on the people who help us actualise our dreams from behind the scenes; our everyday “angels”, our friends, family and loved ones without whom all of this wouldn’t be possible. ” Nick Pound, Sonic Keys echoes the sentiment: “Everyone has their struggles whether it's everyday life or pursuing their passions. It’s the continuing support and backing from family, friends and even strangers which keeps people going and not giving up. You could say they are angels watching over and guiding us through.” The creative process behind ‘Angels’ began in 2024, when Nick Pound (Sonic Keys) first penned the melody and lyrics at the piano. Inspired by their previous collaboration, he invited Aria to co-write and sing on the track. Produced by ARIA-nominated producer Stuart Stuart, ‘Angels’ features the duo’s signature harmonies a message that resonates with listeners from all walks of life. “Stuart transformed the song from its early ideation to the beautifully executed track soon to be released. Stuart’s pop sensibilities and use of colours and textures really elevate the track”, shares Aria. Nick adds, “We were pushed by Stuart in the last hour of recording to give it our best, and I am incredibly proud of what we have created.”
