In 2007, I experienced alcohol-induced psychosis in Canberra, leading to vivid hallucinations—including voices urging self-harm. At one point, I was wandering suburban streets at dawn, completely naked, trying to steal a car. Actually, I say I was completely naked ... but was I? This is a story about me being naked in public but the song is also asking the listener when they might have been naked in public themselves.
