Everything’s Been Said was written by Davey Boy Tug who had recorded a rough demo at home. The band then worked together to mould the song into a classic ‘Tugs track. Clocking in at only one minute and ten seconds, the song is driven by the rhythm section and features a strong melody, with passionate vocals. Working with producer Jason Millhouse at Recordworks studio in Brisbane, the track was recorded extremely quickly with the band recording live in the studio to get the drum track down. The bass and guitar tracks were then overdubbed, and Davey’s vocal recorded in one take. Fans may be surprised by the emotional lyrical content of this new track which explores the last throes of a relationship…the diminishing hope and ultimate realisation it isn’t going to work
