Born from casual jamming among friends Tav, Tim & John, fuelled by Tim’s raw tunes. Marina joined them later as a vocalist and songwriter to add vocal melodies and messages to the grindy riffs; and a power-punching stage presence. Fire of the soul fuels the narratives delivered with a dark energy akin to The Kills mixed with a Stooges gig. Cookies draw inspiration from influences as varied as Qotsa, Yeah, Yeah , Yeahs to Alice in Chains and BRMC. Variety is the spice of life and Cookies like things fun and a little spicy. Fronted by a female Iggy Pop colliding with Nina Hagen, Pyros are an explosive act on stage as their recent shows have proved. Just have a look at their small but fast growing Youtube page.
Now with a successful debut EP under their belt, a growing follower base ,and glowing reviews and accolades such as, infulential UK music promoter Paul Harwood naming Pyrocookies “Ep release of the month” in August, “Lava Flows” taking out #1 spot on Sunset Island Music Cafe World Top 30, they now begin work on the follow up due to be recorded in early 2025.
