Patrick Sorrentino is a French-Australian singer/guitarist, music composer/producer and music video director based in Adelaide, Australia. After an encouraging musical debuted with the French band “Alert”. At age 19, Patrick decided to move to Australia.
Over the years, Patrick has played in numerous bands of varying genders (Funk, Jazz and Blues). He is best known as the guitarist for the 80s band, “Wild Child” and the original indie-pop-rock band “Jamablue”. He featured on two self-produced recording projects: “All We Wanna Do Is What We Wanna Do” an EP with Jamablue released in 2003 (on SoundCloud). His first solo Album: “Patrick Sorrentino Retrospective” was released in 2004 (re-released on Spotify in 2020).
Patrick is presently working on a new album. This new work will be predominantly Rock/Blues. The first two singles have been well received locally and are currently play-listed on several stations around the world such as Coast FM (Australia) Amazing Radio (USA), Meuse FM, Dynamyk FM and Radiokc FM (France). Both singles have been played on the US station Amazing Radio. Also, last year Patrick was interviewed by the US magazine ‘Beyond The Gravestones.’ and was that month’s featured ‘Ghost Guitarist ‘. The videos have also appeared on Channel 44’s Mega Music TV show.
At present the new album is about 90% written and should be due for release in mid-2024.
