Northern Lights are a five piece alternative rock band from Ipswich, QLD. The band have been blazing a trail around south east Queensland since 2017, their music appearing in film and television as well as making the 4ZZZ Hot 100. After taking a brief hiatus while frontman Dustin Schmidt directed the award-winning indie drama film The Last of the Pretty Boys, Northern Lights are back with a bang featuring a brand new lineup and a fire lit under them like never before. The band are currently in the studio self-producing their debut album which is due out in 2026. Looking Down is the third single from their forthcoming album.
